Congratulations! If you're looking at this, it probably means that you
are
at one of those most magical moments in life when you've found yourself
drawn
to another person in a love that knows no boundaries.
What
a wonderful place to be.
It's
an incredibly special time for you, but planning a wedding can also be an incredibly
stressful time. You want your ceremony to go right, and you know you've
only got one shot at it. It takes a tremendous amount of commitment,
thought, and planning to create a wedding ceremony. You may eventually
spend weeks or even months planning an event that will last only a few short
hours. What would it be worth to have those memories captured in a set
of photographs that you can be proud to show around for the rest of your life?
Capturing those memories is my specialty.
Choosing your photographer will be an important part of your wedding plans.
The style of photographs and the way they are presented - even the photographer's
manner - will certainly colour your memories of the day.
During that day, no one else will follow you through the most private moments
more closely than your photographer.
You want someone that can blend in with your family and friends to catch every
smile and every tear on film. But at the same time, you know that the
photographer must also be able to adopt a role of polite leadership while directing
your family and friends for the group photos. You want someone that
will complement - rather than dominate - the occasion.
I aim for simple, unaffected - ‘natural’ - posing, sufficient to get each participant
looking beautiful, at ease and still enjoying themselves, in the most pleasant
surroundings available.
Take a look through the photo gallery and you should have a pretty good feel
for the type of photos we create.
My personal philosophy of wedding photography can be
summed up in one simple statement...
It's your wedding!
*************
I'm there to provide a service to you and I'll go out of my way to make sure
we get the pictures that YOU want. Not only will I get YOUR pictures... but
I'll do it in a way that is professional, friendly, courteous, always
respectful towards you and your guests, and most of all - fun!
The following are some comments and suggestions we offer to assist you
in making the very critical decision of which photographer to hire.
What kind of camera equipment will be used?
We use professional
Canon Digital EOS cameras with wide to telephoto lenses, and professional electronic
flash units. We
can bring studio lighting to any location. We also carry backup equipment
just in case the unlikely event of a malfunction. There are no re-shoots
at weddings. This photographer is "always prepared".
Will the photographer you meet with be the one who actually
photographs your wedding?
We occasionally use
"hired hand" photographers for our Associate Package only. And if that is happening you will be interviewing with the actual photographer
so that you can meet each other and there will be no surprises on the wedding
day. On all of the larger packages, I will personally photograph your wedding
and I may even hire one of our Associate photographers to assist.
Who
owns the Intellectual Property Rights?
We will deliver finished
quality preview prints of all of the photos we take at your wedding for the
higher packages. These prints are yours to keep as per the package you purchase. Please
note that the
photographer owns the Intellectual Property Rights of all images and may not be copied in any way. Unless you
purchase the rights and/or Hi-Res images you may not copy,
scan, print, photograph or duplicate in any way. This includes digital images for the internet. The Intellectual Property Rights can be purchased from 5 000 baht to 10 000 baht depending on the package you order.
Why
are the packages expensive?
It is true you will invest a lot of money to get good photography. To
put it in perspective with your wedding expenses, other than your rings and
maybe your wedding gown, your photographs are the only tangible thing you will
be able to keep as a visual reminder of your wedding in the years to come.
Can
I copy my photographs?
Please note that the photographer owns the Intellectual Property Rights of all images. Unless you
purchase the rights and/or Hi-Res images you may not copy,
scan, print, photograph or duplicate in any way. This includes digital images for the internet. The Intellectual Property Rights can be purchased from 5 000 baht to 10 000 baht depending on the package you order.
